Pave the Way Foundation Announces 2011 Awards Gala Benefit to Honor Four Distinguished Individuals

John Catsimatidis to receive Defense of Faith Award; Frank MacKay to receive Citizenship Award; Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin to receive Interreligious Dialogue Award; Jose Dominguez to receive Philanthropy Award

September 14, 2011, New York, NY - The Pave the Way Foundation announced today that the Gala Awards Dinner for this year's recipients will take place at the renowned Oheka Castle on November 14, 2011 in Huntington, NY, on Long Island’s famed Gold Coast.

This year four distinguished individuals will be honored for their outstanding achievements. John Catsimatidis, President, Chairman & CEO, Red Apple Group and Gristedes Foods, will receive the Defense of Faith Award; Frank M. MacKay, Business Entrepreneur, Political Activist, Musician, Author, and National Chairman, The Independence Party of America, will receive the Citizenship Award; Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin, International Educator, Speaker, Author; Chief Rabbi of Efrat, Israel; Founder of the Orh Torah Stone Educational Center, will receive the Interreligious Dialogue Award, and Jose Dominguez, Humanitarian, will receive the Philanthropy Award. Gala Co-Chairpersons are John (Nick) Drexel IV, Hon. Ambassador Patrick Theros, and Gary Melius. The Gala will bring together hundreds of prominent religious leaders, politicians, business, and civic leaders and celebrities from around the globe, including a live auction and performance by international Mezzo Soprano Ariana Chris, who sang at the televised Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Proceeds from the gala to benefit the mission of Pave the Way Foundation, Inc.
