Paving the Way to Peace
removing obstacles between religious and initiating gestures of good will.
UPCOMING EVENT
DATE: 16 OCTOBER 2023 | TIME: 6pm
VENUE: Curé of Ars Roman Catholic Church, 2323 Merrick Road, Merrick NY.
October 16, will be the 80th anniversary of the arrest of the 1023 Roman Jews by the Nazi invaders. The defamation of Pope Pius XII results around the perceived silence of the Pope on that day.
Gary Krupp, President and founder of Pave the Way Foundation will be moderating a special panel discussion.
Pave the Way is bringing
- Dr Johan Ickx, Archivist of the Vatican Secretary of State and author of “The Pope’s Cabinet”
- Princess Giorgia Pacelli, grandniece of Pius XII (with access to the private family archives) and
- William Doino Jr, the lead contributor to the acclaimed anthology, “The Pius War: Responses to the Critics of Pius XII”.
We are revealing the discovered primary documents of how Pius XII ended the arrest of the Jews 2PM that day and then proceeded to hide 10,000 Jews throughout Rome, Italy and Europe.
We are encouraging participant and critical questions at the event.
Pave the Way Foundation was founded in 2002 to initiate cultural, educational and technological exchanges between religions in order to build gestures of goodwill.
We identify non-theological obstacles in the diplomatic and political arena, unraveling and eliminating the barriers of disinformation that serve to stoke distrust between religions. Working quietly from behind the scenes we talk to people who will not talk to each other.
